Prominent Farmer of Bogota Dies Monday

Charles Williams, 63, prominent farmer of the Bogota community, died at 6:55 o'clock Monday morning at his home there, following an illness of a few weeks.

Services will be held at ten o'clock Tuesday morning at Oak Grove church cemetery, conducted by the Rev J B Bany, pastor of the Gospel Mission church of Dyersburg. Burial will be at Oak Grove. Mr Williams had resided practically all of his life in the Bogota community, where he was held in high esteem. He was a member of Gospel Mission Church and was active in its behalf.

His widow, Mrs Bettie Williams; two sons, Obie & Dock Williams; four daughters, Mrs Will Pleasant, Mrs Ebbie Fletcher, Mrs Minnie Doss, Mrs Beulah Johnson; one brother, George Williams; one sister, Mrs Lina Parrot, survive him.

J W Curry & Son of Dyersburg are in charge of funeral arrangements.
