Mrs Bettie Williams Dies Friday Morning Mrs Bettie Williams, 71, died at 9:30 o'clock Friday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs Will Pleasant, on Tucker Street. Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Saturday morning at Oak Grove cemetery with Rev B B Presslar officiating. Burial be at Oak Grove on Lake Hwy, north of Dyersburg, with J W Curry & Son of Dyersburg in charge of arrangements. Mrs Williams is survived by three daughters, Mrs Will Pleasant of Dyersburg, Mrs Curtis Fletcher of Helena, Ark., and Mrs Minnie Davis of Bogota and Doc Williams of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; several grand children and great-grandchildren; three brothers, John Short, Lee Short and Erve Short, all of Bogota; three sisters, Mrs JJohn Walker of Bogota, Mrs Reed Williams of Bogota, and Mrs Jim Bennett of Caruthersville, Mo. |
