STATE GAZETTE Dyersburg, Tennessee, Monday Afternoon, March 18, 1946 Hold Services for James J. Whitlow Sunday Afternoon James J. Whitlow of Route one, Elbridge, died Saturday at his home. He was seventy-seven years old. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon with Reverend Benton Pressler officiating. Burial was in Zion Cemetery, with J. W. Curry and Son in charge of arrangements. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Annie Freeman of Dora, Alabama; Mrs. Edna Green of Bogota; one son, Mack Whitlow of Elbridge; three brothers; Johnnie Whitlow of Dora, Alabama; Tom Whitlow of Milwaukee, Wis; Granville Whitlow of Burnsville, Alabama; three sisters; Mrs. Lottie Gwinn of Dora, Alabama; Mrs. Zubie Jones of Oklahoma City; Mrs. Ester Allen of Lone Wolf, Oklahoma. |
