DEATH OF AN OLD CITIZEN--L C WHITE, a prosperous farmer and estimable citizen of this county, died at Halls last Friday morning, aged 72 years. Mr. WHITE had lived in this county nearly all his life. He leaves a wife, two daughters and one son to mourn his loss. The remains were interred at Newbern Cemetery Saturday, services at the grave by Rev. G W EVANS.
