Dyersburg State Gazette Sept. 11, 1980 George Wasinton Wheeler, 84, of Finley, died Tuesday at Parkview Hospital. He was a farmer and a ginner. Services was at 3 p.m. Thursday at the chapel of the Curry Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. O. R. Meggs and Rev. Donald Scott. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery. J. W. Curry and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Tilda Wheeler of Finley; four daughters, Mrs. Clara Morrow, Ripley; Mrs. J. T. Tidwell, Newbern; Mrs. Leon Seaton, Dyersburg; Mrs. Lee Simmons; one son, George T. Wheeler of Memphis. |
