Mrs. Ira B. THURMON, 75, of Dyersburg, mother of Mrs. Alton MARSHALL, of Halls, died last Thursday in the Dyersburg Hospital. Services were Sunday in Main Street Church of Christ in Newbern, burial in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. She leaves her daughters, Mrs. Ruth HAILEY and Mrs. Angela SEATON, both of Dyersburg, Mrs. Jewell PIGG, of Norfolf, Va. , and Mrs. Wilmer WHYBREW, of Long Beach, Calif. ; her sons, Melvin THURMON, of Madison, J. E. THURMAN, of Memphis, Earl THURMAN, of Obion, Huttle THURMAN, of Ridgley, Parks THURMAN, of Dyersburg, and Roy THURMAN, of New York City, N. Y; and her sister, Mrs. Edward SCOGGINS, of Union City; and her brother, John WILSON, of Indianapolis, Ind.
