Funeral services will be held at two o'clock tomorrow afternoon, Wednesday, for William Ernest Stewart, retired farmer and former county resident, who died at Shelby County hospital at Memphis, Monday. He was 79. Final rites will be said at the Chapel at Curry Funeral Home, and burial will be at McColloughs Chapel. J. W. Curry & Son will have charge of arrangements. Mr. Stewart was born in Kentucky in 1876. His residence at the time of his death was 625 Manassas, Memphis. He is survived by two sons, Elgie Stewart, Chicago, and Otis Stewart, Memphis; one daughter, Mrs. Lucille Scott, Memphis; one brother, Ed Stewart, Iuka, Kentucky; one sister, Mrs. Ada Dooms, Iuka, Kentucky; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
