Dyersburg State Gazette Friday, Oct. 17, 1975 Fannie Smith Mrs. Fannie Smith, 323 Jefferson Street, Newbern, died Wednesday at the Obion County General Hospital. She was 83. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 at Elbridge Methodist Church with burial in the Elbridge Cemetery. King Funeral Home of Obion has charge of the arrangements. She is survived by her husband, Charlie Smith; four daughters, Mrs. Gladys Hathaway of Newbern, Mrs. Sue Alexander of Memphis, Mrs. Edna Gray and Mrs. Bonnie Alexander, both of Detroit, Michigan; a son, Charles Smith of Hobart, Indiana; and a sister Mrs. Maude Sherell of Michigan. |
