Source: State Gazette Newspaper, edition: October 19, 1942, page 1. L. E. Short, 65, of the Bogota community, died yesterday at 11 o'clock at the Baird-Brewer Hospital. Funeral services were held this afternoon at one o'clock at the residence. Rev. A. O. Colley officiated. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery. Mr. Short is survived his wife, Mrs. Hattie Lee Short; three daughters, Mary Lee, Grace, Ruth, and Rachel; two sons, J. W. and Lee Short. J. W. Curry and Son are in charge of arrangements. |
