Funeral Rites For Tom Roberts. Funeral services for Tom Roberts, 68, who died at eleven o'clock Saturday night at his home in South Dyersburg, were held at four o'clock this afternoon. The rites were held in the Bryant's Chapel Methodist church and were said by Rev. W. C. Baker of Dyersburg, circuit pastor. Burial was at Bryant's Chapel with J. W. Curry and Son in charge of arrangements. Mr. Roberts was a well worker and had resided in the vicinity of Dyersburg for a number of years. Mr. Roberts leaves his wife, Mrs. Callie Roberts of Dallas, Texas; seven daughters, Mrs. Annie White of Miston, Tenn; Mrs. Bonnie Rice of Fowlkes, Tenn; Mrs. Nina Walker of Millsfield, Tenn; Mrs. Lois Whalen of Philadelphia; Mrs. Elva Hayden of Dallas, Mrs. Maxey King and Mrs. Eldred Eddington of Memphis,; a son, Lewis Roberts of Memphis, and four sisters, and two brothers.
