Charles Joe Roark Route 3, Dyersburg a retired farmer, died at Dyersburg Manor at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon. He was 84 and the son of the late William A. and Rosa Rudder Roark.

Funeral services for Roark will be held at two o'clock Saturday afternoon at Boose Memorial Methodist Church. The reverend Mrs. C. E. Boose churse pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Rehoboth Cemetery with Joe Bennett, Douglas Williamson, J. W. Gourley Jr. Stoy Slaughter, Tom Lindsey and Ernest Hill serving as pallbearers. J.W. Curry and Son will have charge of arrangements.
