Mrs. Lumey Presley

Final rites for 101-year-old Mrs. Lumey Louise Presley of route four, Brownsville, were held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock ion the Ivy Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home at Newbern.

The Reverend Robert Dills and the Reverend Barry Presley officiated, with burial following at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg. Grandsons served as pallbearers. Johnson Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Presley died at nine p.m., Sunday at Haywood Park Hospital in Brownsville. She was the widow of James Richard Presley, who died in 1942.

Her survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Drucilla Lee of Brownsville and Mrs. Irene Smith of Mableton, Georgoa, three sons, the Reverend Marvin Presley and Wortham Presley, both of Dyersburg, and Rufus Presley of Brownsville, two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Coulson of Logansport, Indianam and Mrs. Della Oakley of Dyersburg, 13 grandchildren, 42 great- grandchildren and 28 great-great-grandchildren.
