MRS. LUCY PENDLETON--beloved wife of E. B. PENDLETON, died at the residence of Mrs. SALLIE MENZIES, at an early hour Sunday morning. Mrs. PENDELTON had been in apparent good health up to a few hours before her death, until she had an attack of heart failure. She was a member of the Baptist Church and lived close to God all her life. Immediately after her death, a wire message was sent her only son, ED PENDELTON, whose home is in Florida and he and his wife arrived last evening. She was 68 years of age, and is survived by her husband; son; and sister, Mrs. SALLIE MENZIES. Funeral services were conducted at the residence of Mrs. MENZIES, interment at the family burying ground in Hurricane Hill.
