Mrs. Lota Oliver Dies on Tuesday

Mrs. Lota W. Oliver, 83, died last night about eight o'clock in Parkview Hospital. She was the widow of Oscar B. Oliver, who died in 1959.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Thursday in the Main Street Church of Christ. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern with Johnsons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Oliver was born in Texas and lived in Newbern since early childhood.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Frank Walch of Alasbus, Florida and Mrs. Millard Chatton?? of Newbern; two sons, Clyde Oliver of Dresden and Huey C. Oliver of Wilmette; a sister, Miss Kate Walker of Dyersburg; and a brother, Martin Walker of Puregould, Alabama.
