Elbert Lee (Monty) Montgomery, 65, of Harlingen, Tx. and formerly of Dyer County died Wednesday. He was a retired farmer and veteran of World War II.

Memorial prayers will be given Sun., Feb. 10 during the morning worship at Mount Vernon Baptist Church. The family requests memorials be sent to the Mount Vernon Baptist Church. Cox Funeral Chapels of Harlingen, Tx. is in charge of arrangements.
