Rites For Mrs. Gilman Sunday

Funeral services for Mrs. B.J. GILMAN, who died at her home in Unionville community Friday night, Dec. 23, were held Sunday in the Mt. Vernon Baptist church at Unionville, of which Mrs. GILMAN was a devoted and loyal member. She had been ill health for the last three years following the fracture of a thigh which she sustained in a fall. She was eighty-eight years of age.

Serving as pallbearers were Jesse MAHON, E.M. PERRY, Bobby GILMAN, Eugene FRANKS, Raymond JENNINGS and R. P. MAHON. J.W. CURRY and Sons of Dyersburg had charge of the arrangementd.

Mrs. GILMAN is survived by her husband, prominent resident and landowner in the Thirteenth District; one son, O. B. GILMAN of Memphis; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence GEAN of Blytheville and Miss Ruth GILMAN of Unionville; two brothers, Dr. R. P. MAHON, SR., of Jackson, and C.B. MAHON of Jonesboro, Arkansas
