Death of O. M. Love

Oscar M. Loye (as spelled) died Tuesday morning at 8:30 o'clock at his home on Lee Street, Dyersburg, after an illness of three weeks.

Mr. Love had been in bad health for some time and his death was not unexpected. He was born in Trenton 64 years and 3 months ago, but has spent most of his life in Dyersburg, where he counted his friends by the scores. He was a member of the Christian church and a loving husband and father. He was also a member of the Maccabee lodge.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the residence and interment will be at the City Cemetery. Mr. Love is survived by his wife and two daughters, Mrs. Maud Love Payne and Mrs. E. W. Tatum, both of Dyersburg.

He was preceded to the great beyond by another daughter, Mrs. Hattie Coker.

A large number of friends and relatives from out of town are here to attend the funeral and among them are T. E. Love and daughter, Miss Ella Thompson, and Mrs. Hattie Moody of Memphis, Mrs. R. C. Williams and J. O. Love, of Humboldt, Mr. And Mrs. James Stewart, of Fruitland, Dr. C. T. Love and family, of Alamo, Mr. And Mrs. Parker Holliday of Cairo, and Mrs. J. W. Brown, of Paris, Ky.
