Monday, July 19, 1965 Dyersburg State Gazette Karen Lee Ketchum, daughter of Gerald Thomas Ketchum, garage owner and operator, and Mrs. Frances Mitchell Ketchum, died at 2:30 o'clock Sunday morning at the Baptist Hospital in Memphis where she had been under treatment, for serveral days. She would have been eight years old on Thursday of this week, July 22. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. Besides her parents, she is survived by a brother, Charles Thomas Ketchum; her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Mitchell of Dyersburg and her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ardell Ketchum of Dyersburg. Funeral services were held at three o'clock this afternoon in the chapel of the Curry Funeral Home. The rites were said by the Reverend Morris McKenzie. Pallbearers were William Finch, Richard Hill, James Quinely and Jack Foster. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery with J. W. Curry and Son in charge of arrangements. |
