Publication Date: September 23, 1998 Source: The Commercial Appeal Memphis, TN DYERSBURG - Leslie Ardell Ketchum, 82, self-employed auto mechanic and farmer, died of cancer Monday at his home. Services will be at 4 P.M. today at Dyersburg Funeral Home with burial in Fairview Cemetery here. He was a member of Hawthorne Baptist Church and was a World War II Navy veteran participating in the invasion of Okinawa. Mr. Ketchum, the husband of Thelma Ketchum, also leaves four daughters, Barbara Ketchum Abernathy of Bremen, Ga., and Martha Ketchum Hopper, Judy Ketchum Moser and Cindy Ketchum Moore, all of Dyersburg; a sister, Mable Pique of Bells; a brother, Tommy Ketchum of Dyersburg, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren |
