Dyersburg State Gazette August 22, 1972 The wake for the Reverend C. J. Jarrett, Sr. of Newbern will be held Tuesday night from seven to nine o'clock at Fisher Funeral Home, which has charge of arrangements. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at eleven o'clock at the Cleve Temble CME Methodist Church at Halls. Bishop B. J. Smith will officiate and burial will be in Edward Grove Cemetery at Haywood County. Jarrett died Saturday at his home. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Kathryn Kirk Jarrett; two daughters, Mrs. Wilda Jones of Flint, Michigan, and Miss Genora Jarrett of Newbern; two sons, the Reverend J. H. Jarrett and C. J. Jarrett, Jr., both of Newbern; three sisters, four brothers, four grandchildren and nieces and nephews. |
