H. L. (Pete) HEATHCOTT, Sr., 82, Edith farmer, died Saturday in Lauderdale County Hospital. Services were Monday in Edith Methodist Church, burial in Edith Cemetery. He was born in Dyer County. He leaves his wife, Mattie Vaden HEATHCOTT; son, H. L. HEATHCOTT, Jr., of Ripley; daughters, Mrs. Joe CRIHFIELD, Mrs. Owen DUGGAN, Mrs. James CHISHOLM and Mrs. Glen CHISHOLM, all of Ripley and Mrs. Don NYE, of Cleveland, Ohio; brother, Forrest HEATHCOTT, Sr., of Halls; sisters, Mrs. Otto LUCAS and Mrs. Joe COOK, both of Ripley and Mrs. H. A. KRIEVICHER, of Memphis.
