Dyersburg State Gazette Mrs. Aaron Moody Rites Here Today Mrs. Alice Merie Goldman Moody of Finley, wife of Aaron Moody, died at Parkview Hospital at one o'clock Sunday afternoon. She was 58. Born in Green County, Arkansas. Mrs Moody was the daughter of late Mr. and Mrs. Bill Goldman. She had lived in Dyer County for the past 31 years. Funeral services for Mrs. Moody were held at two o'clock this afternoon at the Pentecostal Church at Finely . The Reverend O. R. Meggs and the Reverand J. T. Plunk officiated. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery with Thelma Tidwell, Dewayne Moody , Darrell Moody, Leon Seaton, Odell Moody, and Eulas Moody serving as pallbearers. J. W. Curry and Son had charge of arrangements. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs J. P. Ketchum, Dyersburg; a son Vernon Farlow, Gleason, Tennessee; four sisters, Mrs. Lucille Nance and Mrs. Roy Wilcox, both of Paragould, Arkansas. Mrs. Gladys Nichols, Marmaduke, Arkansas, and Mrs. Coy Moody, Finley; a brother , Clyde Kearnes, Paragould, Arkansas; and two grandchildren.. |
