Gaylon GILMER , 81 died at home in Highland (Ca) on 27 April 1993 of cardiac arrest. He was born in Dyersberg, TN. on 24 DEC 1911. He arrived in Highland (San Bernardino Co....) Ca on 9 Jan 1936 (should say 1938 ) . He was a laborer and worked for the Southern Pacific railroad. He is survived by his wife of 58 1/2 yrs , Oma ( HOWELL) ; a daughter Glenda and her husband Marty Artoff of Rogue River, Oregon.; 4 sons Terry and Leroy both of Highland, David and his wife Lorraine , of Apple Valley (San Bernardino Co..) Ca, Brent (REYNOLDS) and his wife Lynda of Highland ( actually a grandson they raised ) ; 3 sisters J. Virginia Wiehn, Florel Pounds of NM, and Rachel Johnson of Riverside; 3 brothers, Edward , Nute, and Calvin all of Orange; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by two sons (Richard Calvin GILMER and Johnny Wayne GILMER ) . Graveside Service will be held Friday, April 30, 1993, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. View Cemetery.
