Funeral services were held Thursday morning at the Friendship Baptist Church for Henry Thomas George, who died at his home near Tigrett Wednesday morning. The Revs. J. B. Hill, T. E. Williams and W. C. Skinner officiated. Mr. George was born in Gibson County. He had lived in Dyer County for several years and was a very well known farmer. He was 76 years of age and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Ann Williams George and two brothers, Granville George of near Alamo and Calvin George of Batesville, Ark.
