Former Blytheville resident, Mrs. Rachel Gean, 80 of Halls, Tennessee, died Monday at her home in Unionville. She was the widow of Clarence Gean. She ws born at Halls, she had been a longtime resident of Blytheville. Mrs. Gean was a Baptist.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Rebecca Recknor of Halls, Tennessee and Mrs. Eunice Westling of Aurora, Illinois,;

Six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church near Dyersburg, Tennessee., with Rev. Bill Phipps officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Cobb Funeral Home is in charge.
