Dyersburg State Gazette Wednesday, July 21, 1971 Gamble Services Thursday At 3 Mrs. vera Mae Gamble of 1015 Dyer avenue died this morning at Parkview Hoapital at the age of 45. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at three o'clock at Curry's CHapel with Curry Funeral Home in charge. The Reverend Bill Smith will officiate with burial in Fairview cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnny Gamble, Ralph Halcomb, Ronnie Halcomb, Clifton Pierce, Gerald Cole and Junior Orman. She is survived by her husband, Hassel Gamble, one son, Terry Gamble of Dyersburg; one sister, Mrs. Cleveland Clendennin of Unionville; three brothers, Billy Burkhead, Donald Burkhead and Buddy Burkhead all of Dyersburg; her parents, Mrs. & Mrs. Newt Burkhead of Unionville; one grandson, Tim Gamble. |
