Dyersburg Weekly State Gazette Thursday, March 29, 1934 Congestive Chill Fatal To Middle City Youth Tiny Gamble, 13-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Gamble of the Middle City community; died at their home Monday of a congestive chill. Funeral services were held at the residence at 10:30 o'clock Tuesday morning and were conducted by the Rev. F. M. Bruce, Baptist minister of McCullough's Chapel. Burial was in the McCullough's Chapel cemetery, with J. W. Curry & Son of Dyersburg in charge of the funeral arrangements. The youth was a member of the Baptist church. Besides his parents, he is survived by three brothers--Sidney, Thomas and Bill--and one sister-- Taffa, all of whom reside at home. |
