Dyersburg State Gazette February 28, 1978 Charles Allison Gamble, 304 Kist Avenue, died Monday at Parkview Hospital. He was 81 years old. Services will be Wednesday afternoon at one o'clock at Curry's Chapel with Reverend Joe Naylor officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Thomas Gamble, Jr., Guy Gamble, Ronnie Vaughn, Glen Jones, Bill Anderson, and Harold Pilgrim. Curry Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Eva Gamble; one daughter, Mrs. William C. Anderson of McLeamoresville, Tennessee; three sons, Tom Gamble and Fred Allen Gamble, both of Dyersburg and Bill J. Gamble of Atlanta, Georgia; one sister, Mrs. Mollie Lovelace of Fenton, Michigan; seven grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren. |
