Evelyn V. Frizzell

Evelyn V. Frizzell, 89, of Dyersburg, died Monday at Methodist Hospital of Dyersburg.

She was a homemaker, a member of Richwoods United Methodist Church and very involved in the Richwoods Home Demonstration Club, as a member of which she received the county member of the year award. She and her husband served as administrators of the Dyer County Penal Farm and Resident Home.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. today in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg with the Rev. Willard Watson and the Rev. Dennis Neehan officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The widow of Edward Frizzell, she leaves two daughters, Dot Hurd of Miston and Julia Huey of Milan; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be John Huey, Sam Gregory, Quad Dean, Creed Dean, Kelly Council and Mike Sentell.
