Charles N. Flatt Dies on Saturday

Charles Nelson Flatt, 1209 Phillips, a retired farmer, died at 12:50 o'clock Saturday morning at Parkview Hospital here. He was 84.

Born in Hardin county, Tennessee, Flatt was the son of the late George W. and Amanda Standfield Flat. He was the husband of Mrs. Nym Binkley Flatt, who survives him.

Funeral services for Flatt were held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock. Final rites were said at Curry's Chapel with the Reverend J. C. Maness officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery with Ernest Larue, Vandel Spoon, Glynn Rice and Tullos Davis serving as pallbearers. J. W. Curry and Son had charge of arrangements.
