Henry ESCUE, 89, of Dyersburg, former Gates blacksmith, died last Friday in Parkview Hospital, Dyersburg. Services were Sunday in Curry Funeral Home, burial in Faieview Cemetery. Born in Haywood County, he spent most of his life in Gates till he moved to Dyersburg in 1928. His wife, Mary Jettie ESCUE died in 1966. He leaves his son, James H. ESCUE, of Olive Branch, Miss. ; his daughters, Mrs. Cooper COZART and Miss Annie ESCUE, both of Dyersburg, and Mrs. John G. ALLEN, of Seattle, Wash.; brothers, A. N. ESCUE, and Ellis ESCUE, both of Memphis and his sisters, Mrs. C. E. BRYAN, of Memphis, and Mrs. Ruffin PERMINTER, of Dallas, Texas.
