G. Dolphus Bush Dies Early Today

George Dolphus Bush, 518 Bush street, Dyersburg, well known city resident and retired business man, died at his home at about eight o'clock this morning. He was 90.

Mr. Bush, before his retirement was a lumberman and builder and at one time operated a trucking firm. Earlier he had operated a soft drink bottling company, probably one of the first in Dyersburg.

Mr. Bush's body is at Curry Funeral Home here and will remain there until time for funeral services.

He is survived by three sons, Hugh Bush and Louis Bush, both of Dyersburg, and Everette Bush, Nurbank, California; a brother, Robert T. Bush, Dyersburg; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Sunday afternoon in the chapel of the Curry Funeral Home. The rites will be said by the Reverend James Beard, pastor of Calvary Hill Baptist church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery with J. W. Curry and Son in charge.
