Dyersburg - State Gazette - Monday,March 23,1987 Elmer Burns Mr. Elmer Burns, 83, of Dyersburg died Sunday at Methodist. He was a retired farmer. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of J.W. Curry and Son Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Ronnie Stockdale. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. He is survived by three daughters. Barbara Smith and Sandra Jones, both of Dyersburg and Peggy Davis of Finley; four sons, William Burns, Paul Burns, and Lewis Burns, all of Finley and James Burns of Dyersburg; three sisters, Christine Riggs of Finley, Reba Moore of Halls and Jerry Langston of Dyer; 18 grandchildren and 18 great - grandchildren. |
