Edward G. Binkley Dies This Morning

Edward Guy Binkley, lifelong resident of Dyer county, died at 5:20 o'clock this morning at his home on Merryman street. He was 72.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon Tuesday, at four o'clock at the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home. Rites will be said by the Reverend J. M. Stubblefield. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery with J. W. Curry and Son in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be J. B. Mooney, Albert Gibson, Eugene Rice, Fred Hopper, B. J. Flatt and I. F. Hubble.

Mr. Binkley was the son of the late Leonard and Sarah Williams Binkley, native Tennesseans. He was an employee of Dyersburg Cotton Products for several years but had been engaged in farming for the past few years.

He is survived by his wife Mrs. Ida Binkley; two daughters, Mrs. Zuma Ray, Humboldt and Mrs. Elsie Reasons, Dyersburg, one brother, Ollie Binkley, Dyersburg and one sister, Mrs. Nym Flatt, of Finley.
