Finley, with a population of about 100, lies six miles west of Dyersburg in the Tenth District. The merchants are W. W. Walker, dry goods, and John Rawls, family groceries. Hobdey Bros. have a steam saw-mill and cotton-gin, and John Hicks has a steam cotton-gin at Finley. Drs. Murphey and Rawls are the physicians. |
