Died in Jackson (MS) at Hospital Oct 24, 1946.
Daughter of Cornelia Elizabeth Steele and Stephen Hadley Steele. Father was a doctor.
Father- Samuel Jackson Pierce
son of Mary (Adelaida) McCulloch and Albert Gallatin Pierce
Born in Dyersburg, Tenn Oct. 26, 1859
Died in Greenville, Miss at son's home on July 7, 1924.
Brothers- Hadley Pierce, Harry Pierce and Robert Pierce. Harry died in Osamatomie, Kansas in 1927. He is buried there. No children.
Robert died in Lexington, Miss in 1947. Buried there beside his mother.
Hadley is the oldest. He is living in California. (Died there in 1966)
Sister- Thana Pierce Fleming- living in Greenville, MS (died in 1982).
Paul and his borthers and sister were born in family home in Dyersburg Tenn. They lived there until they moved to Greenville (MS) in 1910. There was another sister, a twin to Robert who died at age of four. Paul's father visited us often and came to us during his final illness and died at our home on Poplar St.
