Dear James and Roberta:-
Was glad to hear from you and know that you have a fine boy. Send me his picture if you have an extra one. If it is a small one I could return it if you need it. I have been sick a week with sore throat & cold but am feeling better today.
We had a 5 inch snow last Saturday & sleet predicted for tonight.
I am glad you own you home. I think its so nice to get your home while you are young. I know its pretty & that you are very proud of it.
About coming in Feb. I would love to see you but

Don't you think it would be better to wait until warmer weather. We have our worst & coldest weather in Feb and on into March. April or May seems would be better. I'd hate to know you were on highway driving in such bad weather with the baby. There are so many accidents on the highways & they dont have the snow plows here like they do in the north to keep the roads cleaned off so you think it over & let me know.
I wonder if you know your cousin Edgar Garvey who lives in Detroit. His wife name is Dorothy. Thought mayber you would like to call or go to see him. He lives at 10040 Cadieux St Detroit 24 Mich. Then you have another cousin

Uncle Albert (my brother) lives close to me. He had operation on his throat for cancer 5 yrs ago & cant talk. He has twins. a girl & boy named James & Girl JoElla. They both have families & James named his oldest boy James. I have a son here & one in Miami Fla. My daughter June lives in California. I visited her last May. Went by Jet. She lives close to San Francisco. (over
