This is the picture of the school house that was in Unionville (Dyer Co). Not sure when it was built or torn down, but grandmother (Rachel Gilman) was b. in 1905 and married at age 16, so that would have been in 1921. Her sister (Ruth Gilman) was b. in 1907 she also went to this school, but mother said she graduated from Halls HS in 1926. Mother said the school was still there when she was a child. Mother was b. in 1936 (Rebecca Gean) and remembers going to school as a visitor with her girlfriend Pasty Clancey one time, so not sure when it was torn down.
