Mount Vernon Baptist Church Unionville, Dyer Co. TN Unionville Road
I've been told that my great grandfather Bob Jessie GILMAN helped build the original building which is still standing. He was also a deacon in the Church. When my great aunt Robbie Ruth GILMAN passed away in 1985, she left in her will, funds to have the Church bricked.
Family memebers who attended Mount Vernon Baptist Church were Mollie Mahon GILMAN, Bob Jesse GILMAN, Mary Rachel GILMAN GEAN, Robbie Ruth GILMAN. Also all of the people mentioned are buried at the Mount Vernon Baptist Cemetery.
