HC Williamson To} Deed Lot 3 1/6 ES Thurmond Recd. Nov 2nd 1871 at 11 O'clock AM For and in consideration of the sum of nine hundred dollars to me paid by his two notes I H Clay Williamson of Dyersburg Tennessee have bargained and sold & do by these presents alien transfer convey deliver and confirm unto Easmus S. Thurmond of the same place all of my undivided half interest in that Lot or parcel of ground in the town of Dyersburg known and designated on the original of said Town as the middle third of lot no 3 (number three) Fronting twenty feet on the public square and running back east 120 feet to an alley the same lot now occupies by the magnolia Saloon to have & to hold the same with all and singular the rights profits emoluments tenements and appurtenants of in and to the same belonging to the only proper use and be hoof of him the said ES Thurmond his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims and demand of all and every person or persons whatsoever. Witness my hand and seal this 1st day of November done in the presence of HC Williamson {Seal} State Tax paid $ .90 cts State of Tennessee} Dyer County } Personally appeared before me WM Watkins Clerk of the County Court of Said County HC Williamson the within named bargainer with whom I am personally acquainted and who acknowledged the execution of the foregoing or within named instrument for the purposes therein contained Witness my hand at office this 2nd day of November 1871.
