Samuel P. Williamson To} Deed 30 Acres Land Watson B. Sampson Recd. March 1st 1869 at 1 O'clock PM For the Consideration of Nine Hundred Dollars to me in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge I have this day sold and do hereby sell transfer, convey, and confirm unto WB Sampson the following tract of land situated in the 4th Civil District of Dyer County Tenn described as follows Beginning at the South W. corner of lot Nos 6 & 7 [???0 thence East 72 poles to Mary E. Williamsons North West corner thence South 61 7/8 poles to the N. E. corner of L. P. Williamsons 25 Acres tract thence West 72 Poles to N. W. corner of L. P. Williamsons25 Acres, thence North 64 1/8 Poles to the Beginning. Thirty Acres, the same allotted to me in the division of D. J. Williamsons Estate. To have and to hold the said W. B. Sampson, his heirs and assigns forever with all the improvements, appentenances be thereto belonging and I covenant with the said Sampson that I am lawfully seized of said 30 Acres of land, and that the same is unencumbered, and that I have a good right to sell and convey the same and I further bind myself my heirs, representatives be to warrant and forever defend the title to said land against the lawful claims of all persons whatever. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this 27th day Feby 1869. (U.S. Revenue Stamps affixed $1.00) S. P. Williamson the bargainer above named with whom I am personally acquainted and who acknowledged that he executed of the within deed of conveyance for the purposes therein contained Witness my hand at office February 27th, 1869.
