L. P. Williamson To} Deed DJ Williamson Recd. April 19, 1879 at 4 ¼ O'clock PM John T. Boon R. D. C. I, L. P. Williamson of the County of Dyer State of Tennessee, have this day bargained and sold, and do hereby bargain sell and convey unto DJ Williamson of the same County and State a certain piece of land known as Lot No 7 in the Division of the Wm Merchant lands lying on the Obion River in Civil District No 16 Dyer County Tennessee, for the consideration of one hundred and fifty Dollars to be paid When this transfer is made in money or its equivalent, the said land bounded as follows Beginning at a sassafras on the North Boundary of Lot No. 6 and 51 poles West of its North East Corner running thence North 80 poles to a stake with Chestnut and other pointers thence West 260 poles to a stake on Obion River Thence down the River with its meanders 75o East 250 poles to the Beginning Containing one hundred & two acres more or less – To have and o hold the same I covenant With the Said Williamson and bind myself to Warrant and forever defend the title to said land unto him his heirs & assigns Whatsoever – April 19th 1879, In Testimony Whereof I have Hereunto set my hand & seal State of Tennessee} Dyer County } Personally appeared before me Zach Watkins County Court Clerk of the County Court of Said County L. P. Williamson, the above named bargainer with whom I am personally acquainted and who acknowledged that he executed of the foregoing instrument for the purposes therein contained Witness my hand at office this April 19th 1879, State Tax 15 cents paid.
