I D. J. Williamson of the County of Dyer and the State of Tennessee in the consideration of the sum of one dollar to me in hand paid & the other considerations herein after mentioned have this day bargained and sold to Wm. Harrison as trustee the following described property to wit 25 23/160 acres land in the 4th Civil District of Dyer County Tennessee Beginning at a stake the south east corner the original tract the D. J. Williamson tract of land the north east corner of the F. N. W. Benton tract on the W. boundary of the B. McCullock 800 acres turning thence north 54 1/8 poles to a stake with mulberry ash and persimmon pointers thence west 116 1/6 poles to a stake the N E corner of L. P. Williamsons 25 acres thence south 54 1/8 poles to a stake with sweet gum maple and small persimmon pointers L. P. Williamson S E corner thence east 116 1/6 poles to the beginning containing 35 23/160 acres.

To have and to hold all the above described property to his heirs and assigns for even (in Trust, for the following purpose I am indebted to Webb & Child by promissory note of January the 1st 1873 due one day after date for the sum of $262.08 Two hundred sixty two dollars & 08 cents. I am also indebted to the same parties by open account made in the year 1872 in the sum of $110.00 dollars as security for 3 diamonds which I have $225.00 dollars assured to pay for the said 3 diamonds. I am also indebted to J. M. Mays in the sum about Two hundred and twenty five dollars for work done on my place all now if the before mentioned debts are not paid off or satisfactorily arranged by at least the 25th day of December 1873 then my said trustee is hereby authorized to sell all of the above property at public sale for cash to the highest bidder after giving at least ten days notice by advertisement at the court house door in the town of Dyersburg & two other public places in Dyer County or privately as he may deem best the before mentioned tract of land and to apply the proceeds of such sale first to paying the expences of this trust and then to the payment of the above enumerated debts in the order as the regards preferment in which they are before mentioned in this deed and to hold the balance of the proceeds if any there be subject to my order at the same time I am to keep possession of the before mentioned property for my said trustee until such times as this deed has to be foreclosed as before mentioned take proper care and deliver the same to my said trustee by the 25th day of December & thereby waive the customary bonding of my said trustee and my right of redemption to said tract of land in Witness Whereof I have offered my hand & seal this 28th Day of April 1873.
