State of Tennessee ---Dyer County I Solomon H. Snow have this day bargained and sold and do hereby convey to D. I. Williamson for the sum of five dollars to me paid and the other considerations hereinafter mentioned the following property to wit One two horse wagon the same purchased by me of R McCrory also one yoke of oxen the same purchased by me of henry Boon To have and to hold the same to the said D. J. Williamson his heirs and ass gins forever I do covenant with the said D. J. Williamson that I am lawfully seized of said property have a good right to convey it and that the same is unencumbered I do further covenant and bind myself my heirs and Representatives to warrant and forever defend the title to the said property and every part thereof to the said D. J. Williamson his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whatsoever But this deed is made for the following uses and trusts and for no other purpose that is to say I am indebted to One Henry Boon in the sum of thirty dollars by note under seal of this date due on the 1st last day of February 1847 upon which note Richard H. Mc Gauphey stand my security and I am also to Richard H McGaughey in the sum of twenty dollars by book account and am desirous to secure said McGauphey as my security to said note and the twenty dollars mentioned also now if I should pay the said above mentioned two debts at the time aforesaid then this deed to be void but if I should not then the said D. J. Williamson as trustee after giving ten days notice in writing at the count house door in Dyersburg and three other public Sale and sell it to the highest bidder for cash and appropriate the proceeds first to the payment of the necessary expenses and costs secondly to the satisfaction of the two above described debts and thirdly to pay the balance if any there to be me Witness my hand and seal this 15th day of April, 1846           S.
