Know all men by these presents that we Albert G Smith and E M Smith of the County of Dyer and State
of Tennessee for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred and fifty dollars to us in hand paid the
right whereof is hereby acknowledged have this day bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and
convey unto DJ Williamson his heirs and assigns forever two certain negro slaves to wit Sarah a woman
aged about 45 years and Judist an infant girl negro about 2 years to have and to hold and to hold the same
to the said DJ Williamson his heirs and assigns forever. We hereby warrant the title to the said slaves and
that they are sound healthy and sensible and slaves for life, in testimony whereof we have hereunto set
our hands and seals the 25 day of December in the year of our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and
fifty one and of the independence of the United States of America the 76th. Signed Sealed and Delivered
in the presence of us.

Albert G. Smith and Edward M. Smith the bargainors within named with whom I am personally
acquainted and acknowledged the execution of the foregoing bill of sale for the purposes therein
contained. Witness my hand at office in Dyersburg this 27th day of December 1851.
