AG Smith To – Deed Ed M. Smith Registered Decr 25, 1851 A. G. Ferguson RDC Know all men by these presents that I Albert G Smith of the County of Dyer and State of Tennessee for and in consideration of the sum of thirteen hundred and fifty dollars to me in hand the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have this day bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and convey unto Edward M. Smith of the county and State aforesaid one undivided half of a certain town lot piece or parcel of land lying being and situated in the town of Dyersburg County of Dyer and state aforesaid known and designated on the plan of said town as lot number thirty two. To have and to hold the same to the said Edward M. Smith his heirs and assigns forever I covenant to and with the said Edward M. Smith that I am lawfully sezed of said lots have a good right to convey it and that the same is unencumbered. I do hereby bind myself my heirs Executors and administrators to warrant and forever defend the title to the said town lot to the said Edward M. Smith his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful claim of all persons whatsoever. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this the 21 day of December in the year of our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and fifty one and of the independence of the United States of America the 76th.
