For and in consideration of fifteen hundred Dollars cash on hand to one hand paid by D. J. Williamson the receipt where of is hereby acknowledged We F. T. Simmons and Mary E. Simmons his wife have this day bargained sold transferred and conveyed and do by these presents bargaine sell and convey unto the said D. J. Williamson one third interest in and to our 44 137/160 acres of Land lying and being situated in the 4th Civil District of Dyer County part of the original D. J. Williamson (SR) tract of land being Lot No 2 in the division of said land Bounded and described as follows to wit Beginning at a stake with Mulberry ash & Persimmon Pointers the North East corner of D. J. Williamsons 35 23/160 acres tract of land Lot No 1 thence north 61 7/8 poles to a Red Oak thence West 116 1/6 poles to a stake with large Poplar and small sweet gum pointers on the East Boundary of Sam P. Williamson 30 Acres thence South with his line 61 7/8 poles to a stake his South East corner, thence East 119 1/6 poles to the Beginning including and excluding 2 1/2 Acres sold by us to Jessee Bardow We do covenant to and With said D. J. Williamson that we are lawfully seized of said land and have a good right to Convey the Same and that it is unencumbered and that I will Warrant and forever defend the title to the above described land to the said D. J. Williamson his heirs and assigns forever in testimony whereof We have hereunto subscribed our hands and seals on this the 27th day of February AD/1875.

County of Dyer       } Personally appeared before me Zack Watkins County Court Clerk of Said County FT Simmons and ME Simmons his wife the above named bargainors with whom I am personally acquainted and who acknowledged the execution of the foregoing instrument for the purposes therein contained and the said named woman also appered before me privately and apart from her said husband acknowledged the execution of the same by her freely voluntary and understandingly without compulsion or constraint from her said husband and for the purposes therein contained Witness my hand at office this Feby 27, 1875
