Eli Johnson To – Deed Trust James Johnson Regered 4th Nov 1844 A. G. Ferguson Regr D. C. For value received I have this day sold to James Johnson of Ashport Lauderdale County Tenn the following property eight head of stock and pork hogs two yearlings heifers four head of sheep fifty barrels of good corn four thousand pounds of cotton in the seed the cotton to be delivered at Randal Johnson esq gin one horse cart two feather beds and on bed stead one cross cut saw one falling leaf table one trunk and one shotgun one chest all of which property I bind myself to deliver to John Bearwick to hold for the said James Johnson and subject to his order and also the Ginners receipt for the seed Cotton.
