J. A. Williamson To} Deed 75 Acres WR Private Recd June 12th 1871 At 4 O Clock PM Know all men by these presents that I J. A. Williamson of the county of Dyer and State of Tennessee have this day bargained & sold to WR Private the following tract of land in Dyer County Tennessee in District No 5 beginning at Mrs Whitintons south west corner running 134 poles to a stake poplar & 2 S Gums trees west 90 poles to a stake with cypress Elm & S pointers South 134 poles to a stake thence East back to the beginning containing 75 acres more or less which the said private binds himself to pay the said Williamson on hundred and Seventy five Dollars for the said land as follows Fifty Dollars the 25th of December 1869 fifty dollars 25th Dec 1870 & seventy dollars 25th Dec 1871 a lien is hereby retained on the land to pay said notes the title to said land is warranted to be good Witness my hand & seal this Oct 22 1868 John A. Williamson I obligate myself to made a deed to said land when the purchase money is paid this Nov 9 1868. F. T. Simmons State of Tennessee} Dyer County } Personally appeared before me Thos. H. Benton County Court of said County J. A. Williamson the bargaior within named with whom I am personally acquainted and who acknowledged the execution of the foregoing Deed for the purposes therein express Witness my hand at office this 22d day of October 1868.
