On this day the 24th day of September 1906, this cause came on to be finally
heard before the Hon. O.J. radford, Chairman of the County Court of Dyer
County.  Upon the whole record in the cause and especially upon the report of
the commissioners appointed to make partition in the cause which report is in
the words and figures following to-wit;-

Vs.                 ) To the worshipful County Court of Dyer County Tennessee,
J.W. Rawles et al.  ) we your Commissioners appointed by the said Court to
                    ) lay off Homestead and Dower for Mrs. Jane Jackson out of
the lands of Joe Jackson deceased, and partition said lands, among the heirs of
said Joe Jackson according to quality and quantity beg leave to make the
following report,  After being first duly sworn we went upon the lands of said
Joe Jackson deceased, placed a valuation upon same and proceeded first to lay
off Home-stead to value of One Thousand Dollars, the same being bounded as
follows-;
Beginning at a stake in center of Finley road, 34-4/5 poles west, from the
southwest corner of John rawles tract, and the southeast corner of Jackson
land, thence west 40 poles to a stake, thence North 40 poles to a stake, thence
east 40 poles to a stake, thence south 40 poles the beginning corner containing
10 acres.  the same includes within boundaries the Manor House and out
buildings we then proceeded to lay off one third of the remainded, according
to the quality and quantity as a dower,
1st lot, Beginning at a stake center of R.R. where the same crosses the east 
boundary line of Jackson land runs thence North 40 poles to a stake, thence 
west 333 poles to a stake in the west line of Jacksons, Tom Milan tract and the
east line of Pritchards heris land thence south 48 poles to there south east
corner, thence east to the Northwest corner of a tract bought by Jackson from
Bob Holt, thence south with west line of same 44 poles to stake, thence east,
to a stake in the east line of Jackson land, thence North with the said line
to the beginning containing 187 acres more or less.
Lot No.2. - And known as Bud Robbins tract in the 14 Civil District of Dyer
County Tennessee and containing 50 acres.
Lot 3- Allotted and part of Dower described as follows, beginning at a sypress
and maple pointers 32 poles south from the Northeast corner of Pritchard Heirs
tract in west line of the Jackson, Tom Milam purchased, runs thence north 64
poles to a stake, thence east 100 poles to a stake, thence south 64 poles to
a stake, thence west 100 poles to the beginning containing 40 acres, also one
other parcel described as follows, beginning at the Northeast corner of a tract
known as the King land, and the Northwest corner of a tract purchased by
Jackson from Reeves, and in the south line of Herd tract.  Thence west with
same 50 poles to a stake, thence south 50-1/5 poles to the beginning containing
16 acres, also another lot, the same being the northern end of a 100 acre tract
bought from Young and wife, on Obion River being Band mill described as follows;

Beginning at the Northeast corner of the tract running thence south with east
line of same 64 poles to a stake, thence 118 poles to a stake in west line of
tract, thence North with west line of said tract to the Obion River, and up 
same as it meanders to the Northwest corner of said tract, thence east to the
beginning containing 40 acres.  The Homestead and dower tract as shown upon
plat, or enclosed with Red ink lines.
we then proceeded to petition the land among the heirs of Joe Jackson as
follows to-wit;- We laid off and set apart to General Jackson Lots A & B in the
annexed plat Lot A is described as follows.  beginning at a stake in the center
of Finley road, the southwest corner of John Rawles, and the southeast corner
of the tract upon which Jackson lived at the time of his death, running thence
north with the east line of same 93 poles to Dyersburg and Northern R.R. thence
west with same 34-4/5 poles to the stake, thence south 93 poles to a stake in
the corner of Finley road, thence east with said road 34-4/5 poles to the 
beginning containing by estimation 20 acres more or less.
Lot lettered B. upon plat is bounded and described as follows beginning at a 
stake with Hackberry pointer the Northeast corner of Prichard Heirs tract,
thence North 247 poles to a stake wiht sycamore and two sweet gums and a cotton
wood pointer thence east passing the head of Herd tract, at 69 poles and with 
south line of same in all 250 poles to a stake in center of road the northeast
corner of the tract purchased Joe Jackson from Lee reeves, thence south with
center of road 81 poles to a stake, the southeast corner of the above mentioned
Reeeves purchased, thence west to the south line of the same 45 poles to a
stake the southeast corner of the same thence south 53 poles to a stake in the
north boundary line of lot C, u[on plat the same allotted to Jesse Jackson,
thence west with same 52 poles to the Northwest corner of said lot C thence
south with west line of 113 poles to the Northeast corner of Prtchard heirs
tract, thence west with north line of same 153 poles to the beginning
containing 302-1/2 acres.
We laid off and set apart to Joe Jackson Jr. lots D & E upon plat Lot D is
described as follows;- Beginning at a stake in the center of the Dyersburg and
Cottonwood road point road the south east corner of the 5 acre purchaser of
Ledbetter by Joe Jackson the Northeast corner of John rawles tract, thence
south with rawles west boundart line 106 poles to the Dyersburg and Northern
R.R., thence west with said R.R. 44 poles to a stake, thence north 147 poles
to a stake the Northeast corner of Lot "F" upon plat the same having been
assigned to Mrs. Maruy Preslar a stake in the gulch, thence in a northwestly
direction of the east line of Lillard tract 107 poles to the corner made by
Tom and Joe Jackson as the dividing point between themselves, thence east with
division fence made by Tom & Joe Jackson 120 poles to a stake in east line of
the Joe Jackson purchase from Buck, thence North, with same 18 poles to a stake
in A. Campbells south line, thence east with his boundary 33 poles to his
southeast corner, in Storeys west line, thence south with his west line and the
west line of Whitten tract, in all 152 poles to a stake in Dyersburg and
Cottonwood point road, thence westwardly with said road to the beginning
containing by estimation 145 acres, including and excluding five acres sold by
Joe Jackson for Grave Yard purposes.

Lot "E" is described as follows- Beginning at a stake with Maple and Hornbeam
pointers in the south line of Chas. Coleman land, and 40 poles west from the 
Northeast corner of the 625 acre tract purchased by Jackson from the heirs of
X.B. Phillips, runs thence west with south line of Colemans tract 141 poles to
a stake, with willow oak and sweetgum pointers, thence south 196 poles to a
stake, with maple and sweetgum pointers in the North line of A.M. Stevens
Lumber Co. land, thence east with their north line 50 poles to their Northeast
corner, a stake with Hickory and Sassafras pointers, thence North 128 poles to
a stake with two gums oak and Elm pointers, thence east 91 poles to a stake in
the west line of Lot "G" allotted to Roark Jackson, thence north with his west
line 68 poles, to the beginning, containing by estimation 100 acres more or
less.
We laid off and set apart to Mrs. Mary Preslar Lot "F" & "H" upon plat.
Lot "F" is described as follows to-wit:= Beginning at a stake in the right-of-
way of the Dyersburg and northern R.R. the southwest corner of lot "D" upon
plat, the same having been allotted to Joe Jackson Jr., thence west 74 poles 
to a stake, with sweetgum pointers, thence North 115 poles to a stake in center
of Dyersburg and Cottonwood point road, near the mouth of a ditch, and the
southeast corner of lot "C" which was allotted to Jesse Jackson, thence east
with said road 19 poles to a stake thence north 32 poles to a stake, in the
south boundary line of the Lillard tract of land, thence east with said South
boundary line 55 poles, to one of Joe Jacksons inner west corners of lot "D",
upon map. thence South with west line of lot "D" to the beginning, containing
64 acres more or less, Lot "H" is described as follows-; 
Beginning at a stake with two willow oak and sweetgum pointers, in south
boundary line of Chas Coleman lands, and the Northwest corner as lot "E" as
shown upon plat, running thence west 86 poles, to an Elm pointers, Colemans
southwest corner, thence south 196 poles to a stake with cottonwood, Persimmon
and elm pointers, in the North line of Steven Lumber land, thence wast with
North line of same, 86 poles to a stake a maple and sweetgum pointers, the
southwest corner of Lot "G" upon plat. the same assigned to Joe Jackson Jr.
thence north with the west line of said Lot "E" 196 poles to the beginning 
containing by estimation 105 acres more or less.
We laid off and set apart to Jesse Jackson lot "C" as shown upon the plat
which is described as follows-; to wit;- Beginning at a stake with maple and
sypress pointers in teh east line of the Pritchards heirs land 32 poles south
from the Northeast corner thence north 145 poles to a stake in the field, 
thence east 128 poles to a stake, thence south 15 poles to a stake, thence east
23 poles to a stake, thence south 52 poles to a stake, thence east 64 poles to
a stake in Lillard west boundary line thence south with west line of same
passing his southwest corner at 46 poles, and with a ditch in all 78 poles to
a stake in center of Dyersburg and cottonwood point road, thence west 215 poles
to the beginning containing by estimation 170 acres more or less
We allocated to Mrs. Etta Roark lot "K" & "L" as show upon plat, lot "K" is
described as follows;- beginning at a stake with maple and cypress pointers the
southwest corner of Lot "C" upon plat, in east line of Prichards heirs land,
thence south with their east line 123 poles to a stake with gum pointers, their
southweast corner, thence east 121 poles to a stake, thence North 123 poles to
a stake, thence west with south line

of lot "C" 121 poles to the beginning containing by estimation 93 acres more 
or less.
Lot "L" is described as follows;- to-wit;- Beginning at a stake with persimmon,
cottonwood and elm pointers, the southwest corner of lot "H" in the North
boundary line of the Stevens Lumber Co. land, thence North with west line of
lot "H" 120 poles to a stake with 4 elms pointers, thence 142 poles to a stake
with pointers in the west boundary line of the 625 acre purchase from Phillips
Heirs by Joe Jackson Sr. thence south with west line of same 120 poles to the 
south west corner of said 625 acre tract in the North boundary line of the A.M.
Stevens Lumber Co Land. thence east with North line of same 142 poles, to the 
beginning containing by estimation 106-1/2 acres more or less.
We laid off and set apart to Tom Jackson Lots "M" & "N" as shown upon plat
together with a tract of 100 acres on obion river about one mile below the 
band mill Lot "M" is described as follows to;wit;- Beginning at the Northeast
corner of the Lillard tract and the northwest corner of the Tipton Tract,
thence east 80 poles to a stake thence North 25 poles, thence east 19 poles,
thence North 25 poles, thence 25 poles to Cambells Northwest corner, thence 
south with his west boundary line 100 poles to the southwest corner. thence
east 9 poles to the Northwest corner of a tract lot by Jackson at a court sale
for division of Allen Finley's estate, thence south 18 poles to a stake thence
west with a picket fence made by Tom and Joe Jackson as a division line
between them 120 poles to the Northwest corner of Lot D in the west line of 
Tipton and east lines of Lillard tract, thence North with the line dividing
Lillards and Tipton tract to the beginning.
Lot "N" in described as follows- Beginning at a stake the Northwest corner of
lot "B" with two sweetgum sycamore adn cottonwood pointers, thence south 97
poles to a stake oak and black gum pointers, thence west 62 poles to a stake,
with sweetgum, blackgum and elms pointers, in the east line fo the Stevens
Lumber land, thence North 189 poles to a stake, two gum oak and elm pointers,
and inner southeast corner of lot "E", thence east 91 poles to a stake and 
pointers in west line of a 40 acre block allotted to Roark Jackson, thence 
south with west line of same 92 poles to a stake elm oak and gum pointers, in
teh North line of lot "B" thence west with same 29 poles to the beginning, 
containing 90 acres more or less.  The 100 acre tract is described as follows
being a part of the Wilsons 200 acre, and conveyed to Joe Jackson by W.T.C
young and wife S.E. Young, beginning at a small elm with whiteoak pointers
the southwest corner of the origina Wilkins 200 acres tract, runs thence east
118 poles, to an elm with ash, gum and red oak pointers, thence west to three
small willows on the bank of the Pbion Riber, thence down said river with its
meanders to Chester corner on bank of said River, in the west boundary line of
the original tract thence south with west line of said original tract to 
beginning containing 100 acres more or less.
We laid off and set apart to Noah Jackson lot "O" upon map together with Bud
Robbins 60 acre tract situated near Tiger Tail, and lot 3 & 4 in the
division of Misskelly tract, said lot having been purchased by Joe Jackson
from J.L. Burgie and W.A. Smith

and wife, and Lot "P" upon map, lot 3 & 4 in Misskelly division are described
as follows  Beginning at a stake two elm black and sweetgum pointers, the
southeast corner of lot 2 in MissKelley Divission now owned by Mrs. Finley, 
thence south 149-1/4 poles to a stake, Hickory elm and sweetgum pointers, the
Northeast corner of lot 5, in the divissin of MissKelley tract, thence west
with North line of same 130 poles to a stake two sasfrass and gum pointers,
the northwest corner of said lot 5, thence south 29-3/4 poles to a red oak,
thence west 152 poles, to a stake, thence north 68 poles to a stake,
Gum elm, and sypress pointers, thence east 152 poles, to a stake, thence North
112 poles to a stake, gum sassfrass and black oak pointers thence east, 130
poles to the beginning containing by estimation 190 acres more or less.  The 
Robbins 50 acres tract is described as follows,:- Beginning Ufon MissKelly
Northeast corner, in the west line of William MissKelly Home tract, runs thence
North 3° west 100 poles to a stake, with sasfrass, paw-paw and dead Mulbery
pointers, thence south 87 degrees west 80 poles to a hickory a sweetgum two
elm hackberry and hickory pointers, thence south 3° east 100 poles to a stake
Box Elder and 3 hornbeam pointers, in Ufon MissKelly North line thence North
87 degrees east with his line 80 poles, to the beginning containing 50 acres.
Lot "O" upon plat- is described as follows beginning on teh bank of the Obion
River the Northwest corner of the 164 acres sold by Joe Jackson to W.F. Evans
thence up said river with its meandering to the southwest corner of the
original D.E. Parker 1300 acre grant thence east with south line of said grant
250 poles to a hickory with hickory pointers Colmans Northwest corner, thence
south 43 poles to a stake with Sycamore, Black gum and sweet gum and stupping
Hickroy pointers, thence west 250 poles to the beginning containing 68 acres
more or less.
Lot "P" upon plat is described as follows-;Beginning at a stake in the center
of Dyersburg and Cottonwood road the southeast corner of lot "C" upon plat
and running thence North with the east line of lot C and up a ditch, 32 poles
to a stake, thence east with south line of Lillards land 19 poles to a stake,
the northwest corner of lot F upon plat thence south with west line of same 32
poles to a stake in the center of Dyersburg and Cottonwood point road, thence
west 19 poles to the beginning containing by estimation 3-3/4 acres more or
less.
We laid off and set apart to Roark Jackson Lots "R" & "G" upon plat lot R.
is described as follows;-Beginning at a stake within two black gum pointers
in the south line of lot "S" and the northwest corner of lot "P" thence south
with west line of lot P. 85 poles, to a stake in teh Finley road, thence west
with same to the Northwest corner McLamore 640 acre grant, thence North 85
poles to the south line of lot "K" thence east with south line of lot "K" and
"S" to the beginning containing 73 acres more or less, Lot "g" is described as
follows beginning at the Northeast corner of the 625 acres bought by Jackson
from Heirs of Z.B. Phillips in south line Coleman tract, thence west 40 poles
to hornbean and Maple pointers, the northeast corner of lot E. thence south
160 poles, to a stake Elm, Oak and Gum pointers, thence east with North line
of lot "B" 40 poles to a stake Elm and Red Oak pointers, thence north 160
poles to the beginning containing 40 acres we also allotted to Roark Jackson
one half of the one third divided interst owned by Joe Jackson at the time of

his death in what is known as Occonner place, about one mile west from 
Dyersburg said tracr having been conveyed by Stevens Lumber Co. to Roark
Stonewall, and Joe Jackson Sr.
We allott and set to Genevire Azlees Reeves, Joe Murray Reeves, Theo. Reeves
and Estella Reeves, children of Martha Ann Reeves Deceased and Grand Children
of Joe Jackson deceased Lots "S" & "W" upon plat Lot S is described as
follows:- Beginning at a stake in the center of the Dyersburg and Cottonwood
point road the southeast corner of lot C allotted to Jesse Jackson and the
Northwest corner of lot F. running thence with south the west line of lot F,
and passing southwest corner of same at 115 poles in all 123 poles to a stake,
thence west passing the northwest corner of Lot T, at 43-4/5 poles with north
line of Lot R, in all 94 poles to a stake south east corner of lot K, thence
north with the east line of lot K, 123 poles to the Northeast corner of the 
same in the south line of Lot C, thence with the south line of lot C. 94 poles
to the beginning containing 73 and 1/4 acres.
Lot "W" is described as follows, beginning at the Northeast corner of the 164
acre purchase by Evans from Joe Jackson, in teh south line of lot "O", thence
east with south line of the same to the southeast corner of said lot in the
west line of Colemans land a stake with sweetgum sycamore black gum and
stupping hickory pointers, thense south 120 poles to a stake with four elms
pointers the northeast corner of lot L. thence west with north line of same
142 poles,m to the northwest corner of said lot "L" thence north 120 poles
to the beginning containing 106-1/2 acres.
We laid off and set apart to Stonewall Jackson T & Q upon plat Lot T is 
described as follows.  Beginning at the Northwest corner of lot a. in the
right of way of R.R. thence west 83-1/5 poles to a stake, with sweetgum
pointers the southwest corner of lot "F" thence south 8 poles to the southeast
corner of lot "S" thence west 43-4/5 poles to a stake, with two blackgum
pointers the northeast corner of lot R., thence south with east line of same
85 poles to Finley road. thence east with same 127 poles to the southwest
corner of lot A, thence north with west line of same 93 poles to the beginning
71-1/2 acres more or less.
Lot "Q" is described as follows-- beginning at a stake with gum and oak 
pointers the southeast corner of Lot N. in the west line lot B, thence south
110 poles to a stake thence west 62 poles to a stake in A.M. Stevens Lumber
Co. Line thence north with same 110 poles to a stake wiht elm and gum pointers,
thence east with south line of lot N 62 poles to the beginning, containing
42-1/3 acres more or less, we also allott to Stonewall Jackson, one half of the
one third undivided interest owned by Joe Jackson at the time of his death in
what is known as the Occonner place about one mile west of Dyersburg, said
tract having been conveyed by Stevens Lumber Co. to Roark Stonewall and Joe
Jackson Sr. Each of the above allottments are subject to Homestead and dower
rights of Mrs. Jane Jackson widow or Joe Jackson Deceased, that is so much
of each of the ten above allottments, that lie within the boundries of the
above described homestead and dower and shown upon plat, by being enclosed
with lines marked with red ink.  All of which is respectfully submitted.
